Caxias do Sul (Rio Grande do Sul) – July 15, 2024 – Prosper, Marcopolo Rail’s first light rail vehicle, will begin operating this July on Giordani Turismo’s Trem do Pampa de Sant’Ana do Livramento. The model is a 100% national train, with cutting-edge technology that will travel the twenty-kilometer route between Sant’Ana do Livramento and Palomas stations.

The start of this operation consolidates Marcopolo Rail’s performance and demonstrates the company’s versatility to serve different rail segments, whether tourist, intercity or urban, in Brazil or abroad”, points out Petras Amaral Santos, executive manager of Marcopolo Rail.

On the Trem do Pampa de Sant’Ana do Livramento, culture, music, wines and landscapes come together to create a memorable experience. The tour will allow you to live an immersive experience in the fascinating, rich and traditional culture of Rio Grande do Sul.
During the journey, you will be able to enjoy the stunning landscape of the pampas, with its extensive green plains and endless horizons, to the sound of classic gaucho music, in a festive and contagious atmosphere. There will also be a tasting of wines produced in the Campanha region, famous for its high-quality wineries.
